The light decided the plan
North light is the only requirement a bookbinder states without being asked, and it is the one that cannot be met with a fitting. The roof is a sawtooth, glazed on the north face, and every bench sits under it. The offices and the store are pushed to the south wall where the light is no use and the heat gain does not matter.
